Locker Room Updates- Phase 2 Complete

We’re on the home stretch!

Phase 2 of the #CBRCrefresh is complete (right on schedule) and we are moving on to phase 3.

Here’s what we’ve been working on the past few months.

The NEW family bathroom suites are finished and open as of August 21st. One of the goals of our remodel was to give families the option of private bathroom space and showers. In Phase 2 of our remodel we added four individual suites; each suite includes a bathroom and shower. The suites are in a new hallway that leads directly to the pool.

As we move into Phase 3 of our remodel project these new bathrooms and showers will be the main showers available to all female members- we have additional family showers available for the women to use in the Pelican Bay Bathroom area (Pelican Bay bathrooms will remain open and available through phase 3).

Here are your new Family Locker Rooms!

We didn’t have as much major construction in this phase- so no photos of jackhammered floors or smashed tile. But here are some behind the scenes images of the work we’ve done.

The main jobs in this phase were plumbing, adding walls, then adding tile and fixtures to the inside of the lockers rooms.

Moving forward to Phase 3:

This last phase may be the most intense for some of our members. We understand that limited showers and locker space for the women will be a challenge, but we promise that it will all be worth it! Phase 3 of our #CBRCrefresh will see complete demolition of the women’s old and (former) new locker room space. We’ll add the necessary infrastructure improvements and then rebuild the space into a bright and shiny women’s brand NEW locker room. We are still on pace to finish this project by the end of November. Christmas will be extra special here at CBRC!

Thank you for your patience in this process. Please don’t hesitate to bring us your questions and concerns during this process. We are here to help!

We wish you good health,

Columbia Basin Racquet Club
