Locker Room Updates- Phase 2

Phase 1 of our locker room remodel is complete!

Check out these shiny NEW Men’s Locker Rooms!

We’re pretty happy with the results of the Men’s New Locker room! Now on to Phase 2!

There are a few changes we need to update you on:

First, we conducted a survey of men using the showers vs. women using the showers and discovered that twice as many men were using the locker room showers as women during the remodel process. In order to displace as few members as possible we decided to change phase 2 and move the men into their brand new locker rooms- and move the women back to the “Women’s New Locker Room” for phase 2. See diagram:

Women have access to showers in the former “women’s new locker room” during phase 2. During phase 3 the women’s locker room will be closed entirely and women will have access to showers in the newly remodeled Family Locker Room area, as well as new showers we recently installed in the Pelican Bay bathrooms.

Here’s what we’ve been up to for the past 6 weeks:

April 20th we began installing the tile in the men’s showers:

May 1 we started laying tile:

May 12th we installed the hardware and finished tiling the men’s showers:

May 19th we started working on extra showers in the Pelican Bay Family Bathrooms:

May 28th we installed the lockers in the Men’s New Locker Room:

And we also finished the Pelican Bay showers (just in time for Memorial Day and the kickoff for summer!)

We thank everyone for your patience during this remodel process! We hope the men enjoy their new lockers rooms! We thank all of the women for being flexible with the changes- your brand new locker rooms are just a few months away, we promise it will be worth it!

Please don’t hesitate to contact us if you have any questions.

We wish you good health,

Columbia Basin Racquet Club
