It’s ok- you can admit it- you’ve watched the TV show “Wipeout” and thought it would be a lot of fun.
We have! And maybe that’s one of the reasons we’ve added the AquaTrack to our pool on the weekends! 🙂
What is AquaTrack? It’s a bunch of giant inflatables connected together over the pool to create an obstacle course. It’s good, clean fun (we’ll leave the dirt and mud to the TV shows). It’s open to the whole family- geared towards ages 6 and up. Parents and kids get to slip, slide, crawl, climb, and shimmy over 50’ down the huge track, and it’s indoors.
We’re major advocates of getting kids in the water early and often, which is one of the reasons we offer such a robust aquatics program. Where it might be difficult to pull your middle school’ers off the couch to go run and play in the middle of winter, most kids won’t say no to playing and splashing around in the pool. AquaTrack is another way families can stay active together through the winter.
While this may be a lot of fun, there are also some serious physical skills required to move across the course. The track requires balance, stability, coordination, endurance, and teaches kids to get back up and try again when you fall down.
We hope you stop by and check it out. The AquaTrack is located in our inflated dome close to the Pelican Bay structure. The Track is open Saturdays 1:00p-5:00p and Sundays 2:00p-6:00p.
We wish you good health,
